Shaggy Dog was created in mid-2008 following an extensive research project. Numerous discussions were held with channel experts, software marketing professionals, trade groups and others. The clear conclusion was that a need exists within the VAR and ISV communities for a resource center that can deliver products and services that will help them meet the growing demands of their clients for tools that extend beyond the scope of the traditional reseller.
Formed in California as an LLC, Shaggy Dog Solutions meets the criteria for certification as a woman-owned company. Firms requiring participation of a certified organization can use Shaggy Dog's services to help fulfill that need.
